During the past couple of weeks in my RL job I been listening to the Retrobits podcast .. retrobits.libsyn.com , which is all about vintage computers. Plus I already knew about the ‘Eight Bit Retro Computers’ store (see previous blog posts about Linden ‘asset servers’), which is totally dominated by American machines. like Commodore, Atari and RadioShack. So it set me thinking I need some British or European machines in SL, hmmm how hard can it be to make a prim Sinclair Spectrum for starters ? Already found a reasonable looking Speccy texture. it just needs trimming and adjusting.. and a Speccy itself is just a oblong… watch this space…
